Project Manager on thirteen Transmission Station, R&D, Maintenance, and Telecom projects/programs. Total portfolio value exceeded $50M CAD.
Responsibilities for all projects:
Developed comprehensive project plans, executed projects on-time, and accumulated project savings of $4M CAD
Established risk analysis trends and communicated risk response through acceptance, avoidance or mitigation.
Prepared progress and financial forecasts, which were reviewed during monthly directorial meetings.
Coordinated business case development, feasibility studies, and stage gate proposals with stakeholders and customers.
Key projects:
Constructed a new distribution station on Manitoulin Island while considering the long-term effects on the local Indigenous communities.
Mitigated damage caused by solar storms and coronal mass ejections (CMEs) by preventing geomagnetically induced currents (GICs) in power systems across Ontario.
Connected Canada’s first all-electric mine and upgraded the distribution station in preparation for the forecasted load demand.
